Cold Sore Photos

Effects of Gallixa® on a cold sore (active herpes simplex lesion) in a 48-year-old woman. When the first photo was taken, the sore had been present for about 24 hours, and was weeping, scabby, and painful to the touch. Gallixa® was applied for the first time immediately after the top photo was taken, and then twice per day until the lower photo was taken, four days later. At the time the lower photo was taken, the subject reported that the sore was "almost gone" and that there was no pain or discomfort. She said that typically such sores last at least ten days, and are painful until they are fully resolved.
